Hey all. I was just wondering if you knew any websites where I can find jobs in the UK. See, I have a lot of friends in the UK and would love to work there as an administrative assistant for foreign languages. I have tried monster.com, but I wasn't satisfied with the results. So, really, if anyone can help me, I would really appreciate it.
There is an organisation here called Blind in Business, and they specialise in helping people find employment in whatever sector they're interested in. They are also able to help with any aspect of the recruitment process, like creating a CV, writing up applications, selection processes, preparing for interviews. They are based in London, but can help anyone nationwide. I personally think they might be a good place to start, they will have contacts with organisations and often hear about un-advertised vacancies. It might be worth visiting www.blindinbusiness.org.uk and making contact. Clare Young is one of their employment coordinators, and she's helped me a lot!
